I find it hard to understand the logic behind uninspiring post-2010 SWC TV ads.

They have now added another one based on the recent Angolan AFCON, also equally uninspiring.

Why use post-2010 ads, where old men reminisce about it 20 years later when this World Cup is less than 100 days away?

The LOC is misrepresenting SA and the rest of Africa, by approving mediocre TV ads that dismally lack quality and the "I want to be there!" magic.

In all the previous FIFA World Cups, past and current, football stars footages were used to remind fans around the world of the thrill that lies ahead.

I still cannot forget the one that featured Ronaldo as he dashed past five defenders, and scored in a mesmerising solo run from the middle of the field. It was a glorious ad!

Here back at home, we're down the last 100 days and yet there's nothing inspiring or relevant advertised.Vvery shocking and disappointing!
