Whisper in the rain

I hear you whisper in the rain as
the water rushes over your face.
The silver streams of liquid mercury
changing as my hand plays with this time and space.

Silken waterfalls plummeting over your chin
to the water drenched crevice below.
Tightly clinging clothing
wet under the water’s eb and flow.

I see your mouth trembling in silent anticipation,
closing your eyes as my fingers run over your lips.
Electric reflective diamond beads running down your cheeks
gathering around my fingertips.

I feel the ebb and flow of your body against the wall
as you move to keep your face in touch with my hand.
The soothing texture of your silken features,
revealing the topography of a secret land

It is as if I can taste you in the rain water
running freely across my face.
And I run my hand run down the back of your neck,
drawing you near to steal a kiss in this abandoned place.
