Parade your love on Sunday

| After a few years Berlin authorities decided to stop this annual event, because there was too much trouble, dirt and destruction. Still other cities seem to have no problem with this. So the Loveparade moved westward to the Ruhr Valley Area. I tried 2 years ago to get to the boom box trucks when the parade rocked the city Essen nearby. But I could not get on a train to travel the 15 kilometers from where I live. The station was overcrowded - trains were leaving without schedule or not at all. So I walked back home. This year the Loveparade stops by in Duisburg and I could either walk there or use the bicycle to be faster. Maybe I will try to have a look at the colorful frantic ravers - still I'm not a fan of techno sounds and gay behaviour.
